Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz early. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young at the age of 16. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and highly rated commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects over the years. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon as well as other miniseries. In addition, she is a jury member at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
